Manchester City Party Delegates 

Manchester Labour Students has 5 delegates to Manchester City Labour Party meetings. The delegation has to be gender balanced as a whole meaning at least 2 of the delegates have to be women and other 3 are open places.

The club's 2 Co-Chairs are automatically on the delegation and the other 3 positions are elected at an all-member meeting on an annual basis.

About City Party 

Manchester City Labour Party is a large Committee covering the Manchester City Council area. Its members include delegates from CLPs, Trade Unions, Labour Students and the city's Labour Councillors.

It votes on various issues mostly relating to the work of the Labour Group on Manchester City Council including Manchester Labour's Manifesto at local elections.
